Thanks for visiting my site and the White Dog paranormal mystery series.

In my first book, Special Run, (working title)
Wheat Keigwin wants nothing to do with her animal psychic ability. She thinks her psychic ability was responsible for the murder of two friends. As a successful food photographer, she has left the past behind and has made a new animal-free life.

All that changes when Wheat’s best friend, scientist and researcher Katrina Ormstead is murdered. Katrina’s wolf-hybrid, Special, is the only witness to the tragedy.

About the author: I grew up on the Great Plains of northeastern Colorado – the setting for Special Run. No. I do not ski. My hometown is approximately four hours from the mountains nearest ski resort.
I now reside in Cave Creek, Arizona with my husband of 20 years and our two puppies.
I have a bachelor of science degree in Agriculture Journalism from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado, with emphasis of animal science from Northeastern Junior College, Sterling Colorado.
The author and editor or several hundred articles, Special Run is my first novel.

The real "Special" and inspiration for Special Run. She was a mutt given to me by my boyfriend in 1980. He fell in love with her at the Boulder Colorado Humane Society. What a great dog she was! We always spoke to her in full sentences and would grin when she "talked" back.

When she passed away, my parents buried her on the farm with all her toys, food and personal items. I have this idea in the future an archaeologist will dig up her remains and think they found evidence the people in 1980 highly revered their pets, sending them to the afterlife with provisions.

Dedicated and beautiful, I know she's tirelessly waiting at heaven's gate for me to arrive.
